Chinese Imperial Court Dinner
With red Chinese lanterns, calligraphy scrolls, and other decorative touches that evoke the days of Imperial China, this theme, hosted in the Grand Ballroom, calls for the serving of lavish dishes made famous by discerning Empresses in the Forbidden City. Lion dancers, Chinese percussionists and a pipa or lute musician contribute to the festive Chinese atmosphere. Women may dress formally in chi pao clothing, with men in chang pao or black tie.Feast for the Senses

The Legendary tap dance group Raw Metal ignites the night with their high-energy performance on a special stage. The decor in the Grand Ballroom take its cue from the theme with props such as mock car parts and oil drums. Parts of engines make a surprisingly effective and entertaining centrepiece for the tables, at which a special five-course set menu is served. A magic act by Richard Scholes completes the evening's entertainment.
