Exploring Dalian
Known as China's fashion capital, Dalian has six major shopping malls- Parkland, Pacific Store, Victory Plaza, Mykal, Peace Plaza and the Friendship Store-each stocked with both local and international name brand retailers. Western-style supermarkets such as Carrefour and Wal-Mart are also now present in the city. The city is also known for its abundance of glassware, jade, silk, jewelry, handicrafts, sculptures and antique vases, all of which can be purchased at the city's many local markets.
